Wheelchair for Zdenek Jedlicka – purchase of a wheelchair for a handicapped table tennis player

The project includes a purchase of a wheelchair for a handicapped table tennis player. Wheelchair is an essential tool that allows the handicapped to get to places where an ordinary person usually walks on foot.

The aim of the project is to justify an individual need to purchase a wheelchair that will enable more frequent and more intense involvement of the Garrigue member into activities supporting the integration of handicapped people into society.

Zdenek Jedlicka adds the following:

“My upper and lower limbs are paralyzed. Thanks to the  financial gift that has been provided to me with help of all people participating in the sport activities on the NATO days I will be able to buy a wheelchair that will suit all my needs – i.e. Light, stable and reliable wheelchair. Thanks to this financial gift a new opportunities will appear in my life in order to actively participate in the realization activities of the Garrigue organization. The wheelchair will help me to become more independent and mobile which is closely connected to my table tennis activities and support of integration of the handicapped people into  standard  society. I work as a guarantor of these integration efforts in the Garrigue organization and the aim of the project apart from the wheelchair purchase also is an extension of integration possibilities of handicapped people into common, healthy society. “
